Holiday Bath and Body Gift Sets ($50 and Under)

Welcome to another gift guide. Today we’re focusing on Holiday Bath and Body Gift Sets. I’m still waiting for my order to arrive, but since sales are ending soon, I thought I’d go ahead a share anyway.

The two sets that I’ve already ordered but have not arrived are:

holiday bath and body gift sets - molton brown and philsophy

Molton Brown Bathing Treasures: Molton Brown makes some of the most intoxicating scents and their products are lovely to display. This limited edition holiday set includes 12 travel sizes (1.7 fl. oz) from the body wash collection: Coco & Sandalwood, Orange & Bergamot, Japanese Orange, Suma Ginseng, Gingerlily, Pink Pepperpod, White Sandalwood, Eucalyptus, Samphire, Templetree, Black Peppercorn and Ylang-Ylang. An absolutely fantastic gift! Retails for $50.00 USD – which I think is an amazing deal for this brand!

Philosophy Holiday Handbook: Philosophy knows what they are doing when it comes to bakery-type scents. This set of three travel size hand creams include the follow delicious flavours: peppermint stick, fresh cream and cranberry medley. Peppermint Stick and Fresh Cream smell AMAZING, with the latter being a nice light, fresh fragrance that won’t interfere with your perfume. Philosophy notes that their hand creams are “created with multiple butters, including shea, mango and cocoa, that nurture and soften dry hands, while natural oils and antioxidants moisturize and help protect skin against environmental attack”. I’ve ordered one set but I’m so tempted to keep it for myself I may (will) get another. Retails for $20.00 USD.

On my Wishlist:

holiday bath and body gift sets

L’Occitane Delicious Almond Set (Holiday 2014): O.K. this one isn’t under $50.00 but at $59.00 USD  – I think it is a pretty good value and, more importantly, a wonderful, pampering, luxurious gift for someone special. It comes with a full size of the Almond Shower Oil (which usually retails for $24.00 USD), as well as half a full size of the Almond Milk Concentrate (which usually retails for $49.00). That alone is worth about $48.50 USD and then you get minis of the Bonne Mere Milk Soap, Almond Hand Cream and Almond Supple Skin Oil. I’m in love with the Almond Shower Oil and want this set for myself!

Tocca Hand Cream Set – Crema Quintette (Holiday 2014): A collection of  five of Tocca’s signature hand creams in: Cleopatra, Stella, Florence, Giulietta and Bianca. Tocca states that its hand creams are enriched with avocado oil, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil, aloe, chamomile, and shea butter and are quick absorbing. I’ve owned the hand creams in the past and can confirm that they are lovely – and not too overpowering fragrance-wise.  Tocca makes some lovely fragrances in general – Giulietta, my favourite, is currently in my perfume rotation. The hand cream set retails for $32.00 USD.

Crabtree and Evelyn Limited Edition Hand Therapy Trio: Isn’t this tin adorable? I must give Crabtree and Evelyn props for their cute holiday designs. Most of their holiday collection comes in these festive tins and ornament style packaging. Their hand therapy creams claim to “nourish hands with macadamia nut oil, shea butter, and moisture-locking ceramides”. A few months ago I tried the Lavender scent which my mum brought back for me from Canada. It lived in my bed side table and applying it became a night time ritual.  This particular  holiday exclusive set contains: Frosted Fruits, Iced Rose & Spiced Ginger – don’t they sound delicious?  There are other scent sets available as well.  Retails for $20.00 USD.

Can you tell I like hand creams? Lol. I do think that they make great gifts though – especially during this time of year when most people like to keep a hand cream in their bag. And even better if it smells lovely, right?

Philosophy Holiday Spice Rack: Contains some of Philosophy’s best holiday bakery scents in 6 oz sizes of the all-in-one shampoo, shower gel & bubble baths in: spiced cinnamon stick, creamy cardamom and vanilla bean nutmeg. Retails for $27.00 USD.

I’m placing my order at Beauty Bar which offering a great promotion right now: $15 off $75, $35 off $150, or $65 off $250; with the code BBCYBER14 (Valid from 24th – 29th November, 2014).

This Holiday Bath and Body Gift Sets post is the last of my gift guides. I hope you guys have enjoyed! Please let me know what you’re planning to gift (or get) this holiday season. Recommendations always welcomed. 🙂

Hehe. That makes two of us! 🙂

  2. I’m going to sound weird now, but on Sunday I’ve had my first proper bath in ages. I’m usually a shower girl, but my back was so achy that I thought a warm bath was a good idea… And now all I can think of are things to add to my now weekly bath, ahah! All this to say that the Molton Brown set immediately looked so interesting! That L’Occitane set looks gorgeous too, I love how their almond products smell! 😉 xx

That doesn’t sound weird at all. Lol. I love that you shared that. 🙂 (but not in weird way, lol). I definitely need to take more baths. I have all of this Lush stuff I haven’t used. And buying bath-time goodies is so fun. I’m dying to try Laura Mercier’s Honey Bath products. Sooo pricey though. What are you eyeing?

      1. I really want to try some bath oils and also some bath soaks, but for now I’m starting to explore Lush as I’ve been literally invaded by a mad love for the brand in the last couple of weeks, lol! 🙂 xx

  3. I can’t believe that Molton Brown set costs 50 bucks!!! I certainly don’t need more shower gels, but you know my obsession and the impulse to TRY ALL THE THINGS! I’ll take a look at the stores that carry the brand here and see if I can get lucky 🙂

  4. All these sets look lovely and would make a great gift 🙂 I like hand creams too, so you are not alone there 😉 xo’s
