Apart from my social media favorites, June Favorites is all about makeup. The month of May bleeds in a bit as I didn’t have a favorites post last month on account of the Blogiversary celebrations. Let’s get into it, shall we?
Although I’ve recently discovered some new bases that I’m absolutely head over heels for, last month I also revisited some oldies but goodies. With the warm (or in my case hot & humid) weather upon us, I resurrected my beloved Kat Von D Lock It Powder foundation (a Summer staple that I reviewed last year). Coming back to my collection after a very long hiatus was the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – a fantastic drugstore gem!
June has been all about cream eye shadows. I’ve had even less time than usual in the mornings, therefore, easy and convenient is the name of the game. I recently posted a quick look using the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks and reviewed the Chanel Stylo in Laurier Rose, which I’ve been reaching for almost every other day. My Maybelline Color Tattoos have also come in handy, with my love for Caramel Cool having been rekindled (unfortunately, I believe this shade was LE).
For color, I’ve stuck to an old favorite, Illamasqua’s Lover, and a newish one, the Dior Tie Dye Blush in Pink Sunrise (reviewed here).
And finally, for lips, one product has stood out above all: my Bobbi Brown Lip Balm. I quickly became obsessed with this product for keeping my lips feeling plump and hydrated. You may have seen on Instagram that I purchased two, so I’m never without it! 🙂
Dagmara’s Mummy’s Beauty Corner is, I think, the perfect name for this lovely lady’s blog. Visiting her site is like spending a cozy moment with a friend and I’m always coming back for more!
Lisa of Midwest Glam blogs mostly about beauty, with a little bit of lifestyle thrown in for good measure. The authenticity of her posts remind me of why I started following blogs in the first place.
Shireen who blogs over at Reflections of Sanity is a real sweetheart. I love her down to earth approach and whenever I read her posts, I always walk away with a smile.
