Earlier this week, I featured in my current wishlist some of the makeup and skincare items I was lusting after. I also admitted that as you were reading that post, I may have been in the act of shopping those items. How well I know myself. In my defense, I was abroad and had access to all kinds of good stuff. Here’s what I ended up purchasing from the list:
I’m still quite not sure what drew me to the Laura Geller Liquid Lipsticks as I don’t shop the brand on a regular basis, and liquid lipsticks are not my favorite kind of lip products, but I was intrigued enough to pick up two in Chill Spice and Fuchsia Fever. Of course, I could not resist the YSL Couture Mono Eyeshadows. A newbie to the world of YSL shadows, I settled on three beauties Orient, Modele and Frasque. To get my skin squeaky clean, I opted to test out Drunk Elephant’s playfully named Juju Bar.
Other items that I purchased that weren’t on the wishlist include: one of the new Jo Malone Limited Edition fragrances from the Rock of Ages collection, a MAC Lipstick in Craving (Amplified) which was a Back-2-MAC, the Sephora Collection Solid Brush Cleaner, a Rimmel Show Off Lipstick, the always lovely and affordable Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray and the YSL Chinese New Year Eyeshadow Palette which I’ve been waiting for for many, many weeks.
Look out for reviews of these goodies from my latest beauty haul to come in the next week or so.
