Will I repurchase any of the products featured in my March Empties? You know the drill, (Y) is “Yes”, (M) is “Maybe” or (N) is “No”.
March Empties – Makeup
Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation (M) (Full Review): Just kidding…this product was in last month’s empties – it must have snuck its way back into my empties bin somehow – or I forgot to dump it. :/
Crabtree and Evelyn Pomegranate Lip Butter (Y): Featured in my Canada/French Pharmacy Haul, this creamy lip butter lived in my nightstand for months. Unfortunately, I can’t purchase Crabtree and Evelyn products in The Bahamas but I will pick up more of these if I ever have the opportunity.
Yves Rocher Flawless Finish Concealer Concealer (Y) (Full Review): Although I did speak positively of this concealer in my review, I still think I underestimated how much I would love this stuff. I had to take a photo to show you guys how I dug it all out.
Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara (N): I always seem to have samples of this one. It’s not my favorite and doesn’t do much for my lashes to be honest.
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation (Y) (Full Review): This is another product which I tried to get every last drop out of. I need to invest in one of those makeup spatulas.
Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara (M): Featured this mascara sample on Instagram (including applied to lashes), it gives great volume.
March Empties – Skincare
Neutrogena Naturals Makeup Remover Wipes (M): This new, “natural” version is less saturated than the original makeup wipes (in the blue packaging). They work just as well though and have a pleasant, non-offensive smell.
*Ole Henriksen the Clean Truth Cleansing Cloths (Y): I don’t think I’ve reviewed these cloths in particular, but I do have reviews of the Grease Relief and Nurture Me versions. Anyway, all of the Ole Henriksen cleansing cloths work well but what keeps me coming back to the original is the the divine, citrus smell.
*Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel (M): This belonged to Mr. Bear. He still prefers his Kiehls, but will use this in a pinch.
L’Occitane Immortelle Essential Water (Full Review) (N): Pleasant but didn’t wow me enough to purchase a full size.
It Cosmetics No. 50 Serum Anti-Aging Primer (M) (Full Review): If I got this on sale again, I’d probably repurchase. It’s a lovely primer that does hydrate and feels pleasant on the skin.
*Radical Skincare Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum (M) (Full Review): I ended up really liking this serum – but the price just gets me.
Fresh Seaberry Facial Oil (Y) (Full Review): A beautiful facial oil that helps calm redness and reduces the severity of breakouts.
Sephora Collection Super Regenerating Oil-Serum (Y) (Full Review): The texture of this oil is its selling point, feels more like a serum and sinks weightlessly into skin.
Clinique All About Eyes (N): A gel-like eye moisturizer that promises to de-puff. I need something a little more rich for my dry under-eye area.
*Kate Somerville True Lash – Eye Makeup Remover (Y) (Full Review): As a makeup remover it is one of the best I’ve used. As a lash enhancing product, it is also seems to work if you are realistic about your expectations. My review has before and after photos so you can judge for yourself. 🙂
March Empties – Body and Hands
Bath and Body Works Body Washes (Y): Always repurchase. Not a huge fan of the Wild Honey Suckle scent though.
L’Occitane *Almond Shower Oil and Almond Hand Cream (Y): The entire Almond line from L’Occitane is divine if you ask me.
Philosophy Lotions in Cranberry and *Fresh Cream (Y): Both of these creams came in a holiday set, but you can purchase Fresh Cream, a delightful grown-up vanilla scent, year round.
March Empties – Haircare
ULTA Moisturizing Shampoo (N): Nothing spectacular about this.
Living Proof Satin Hair Serum (Y) (Full Review): I need a full size now! Love this stuff.
