Nordstrom & Sephora Haul: Dior, Marc Jacobs, MUFE

I traveled recently and we all know what that means: haulage. For the most part, I kept things within reason and limited purchases to things I’d thought carefully on. Who’s game for a quick rundown of my Nordstrom and Sephora haul?

Nordstrom and Sephora Haul

Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayons for Summer 2015: Marc Jacobs launched ten new, permanent shades of his eye liners for summer. My experience with the brand is limited and I wasn’t too keen on Blackquer when it originally released. However, I couldn’t resist the bright, dazzling colours of this collection – especially considering my latest obsession: a pop of colour on the lower lash line. I’ll let you guys know if these fit the bill! I purchased the Highliners for $25.00 USD each at Sephora.

Makeup Forever Artist Plexi-Gloss in Nude Pink: Not exactly the biggest lipgloss fan, but I thought I’d give these new glosses by MUFE a try and opted for a neutral. The Plexi-Glosses retail for $19.00 USD each at Sephora. (Technically, I got this during the Sephora VIB sale).

Dior Tie and Dye Collection Blush in Pink Sunrise: I allowed myself one thing from the Limited Edition Summer collections and although I was wavering (Chanel, you almost had me), Dior won out. Not only is the blush visually stunning but the brand itself is not easily accessible to me so I’m always keen to pick up something when abroad. I purchased Pink Sunrise at Nordstrom for $57.00 USD. P.S. IF the Chanel collection lands in The Bahamas, I just may have to re-consider. 🙂

Maybelline 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Lipstick in “Strike A Rose”: While in Walgreens, I spotted the Maybelline 100th Anniversary display and couldn’t help but come away with one of the limited edition lipsticks. I’ll let you know how I get on with it.

Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30: The practical feature of this haul, the ingredients in Tarte’s newest sunscreen/moisturizer hybrid really appeal to me. I’ll talk more about the subject in this weekend’s Skincare Sunday post, but I’m currently exploring more harsh-chemical free and non-toxic skincare options. The Tarteguard retails for $32.00 USD at Sephora.

Do you have a Sephora haul or any other type of haulage to share? Pick up anything during the recent sales?

  1. Yay, haul! I wish I could shop the Sephora sale, but my wallet is probably happy that I can’t! I picked up Tom Ford Naked Bronze last week tho. The cream shadow is SO super pigmented! I’d love to see these, particularly the MJ eyeliners 🙂

    1. On the opposite end, I wish I could shop Tom Ford on a more regular basis but I suppose my wallet is happy too. 🙂 The reviews of the MJ liners will be up tomorrow! 🙂 xo

  2. Great haul! I’m dying to hear a review of the Plexigloss & MJ eye liners! Here’s my latest haul: http://beautylymin.blogspot.ie/2015/04/recent-purchases-19-featuring-glamglow.html xx

    1. Thanks hun! The Plexi-Gloss review is up http://beautyisles.com/makeup-forever-artist-plexi-gloss-nude-pink/ and the MJ liners are coming tomorrow. Checked out your haul and review of the Kat Von D palette – lovely! xo

  3. I can’t cope with how amazing your makeup stash must be! Such gorgeous pieces here, especially the Marc Jacobs eye crayons – love a ‘pop’ of colour too 🙂

    1. Awww, thank you hun. It’s actually pretty modest but I suppose everything’s relative. Maybe I’ve just become too numb to the mega, supersized collections one sees on Youtube and such. Mine is definitely teeny tiny in comparison, but I’m happy with it and grateful to be so fortunate. P.S. I’m loving the MJ liners! xo

  4. Nice haul Kimmy! Everything looks and sounds wonderful! 🙂 xo

    1. Thank you, Katie. The reviews are rolling out and I’m having so much fun testing everything! 🙂

  5. Thats some great stuff! Its so much more fun to get to shop in store isnt it?

    1. It is so much more fun to shop in store. I know you feel me on the challenges of not being able to access certain brands and such. 🙂 Makes the in person shopping experience all the more special. 🙂 xo

  6. That’s a great haul! can’t wait to see your review of the Dior blush 🙂 x

    1. Thank you, sweetie. I’m hoping to have the review of the Dior Blush up next week. 🙂 xo

  7. Can’t wait to read all the reviews 🙂

    1. Thanks, Laura. The reviews are rolling out this week and next. xo

  8. The Marc Jacobs Highliners are addicting! Once you have one, you’ll want to collect them all! The new colors are so so beautiful. I wish they would make a mini set that includes all the colors at some point. I’d totally get one without hesitation and would probably buy another backup set, too!

    1. YES! A mini set that includes all of the new colors would be fantastic. And I’m inclined to agree with you on that other point as well…I’m loving the four that I got and wanting more, hehe. xo
