OPI Venice Collection Fall/Winter Mini Set Review

It’s been a long time since I’ve talked about nails. So I thought I’d do a quick post today to talk about some new nail polishes I purchased from the OPI Venice Collection for Fall/Winter:

OPI Venice Collection Fall Winter Mini Set

The collection, as the name suggests, was inspired by the city of Venice with it’s “modern interpretation of Baroque style…romantic reds, decadent blues, striking corals, dreamy pastels, elegant nudes, dramatic darks, and luxurious metallics”.  I picked up the Little Bambinos Mini set which contains four mini polishes from the collection.

The one I’m wearing below is A Great Opera-tunity which is a peachy beige shade. I was worried that it wouldn’t look that great against my skin tone but it’s just dark enough to be a flattering nude, I think. This is two coats. To spice things up, I added an accent nail with some glitter.

The three other shades in the set are:

Worth a Pretty Penny: a rose copper shade. This one is my favourite.

Amore At The Grand Canal: a deep red with a blue undertone.

My Gondola or Yours?: a not quite black charcoal. I haven’t worn this on the nails yet, but the formula on this seems much thinner than the others.

I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t think I’ve ever finished a bottle of nail polish. So, although these are super tiny, I thought it was a great way to grab some pretty colors for the season that I’ll actually get some use out before the entire bottle goes to waste. The OPI Venice Collection Fall/Winter Mini set retails for $13.95 and I purchased from ULTA.

  4. I’m the same I’ve never finished a full bottle so the idea of getting a sweet with smaller sizes like these is much more appealing as you can try more shades for the same price as a full size one. Love the red & the nude shades here especially x

  6. Looking at the nail polish in the bottle, The Great Opera-tunity is the one I least attracted to but wow, it’s such a stunning nude-ish shade on your nails. I’ll need to check if I can find a bottle of it here.
