What I Got for Christmas 2014 (Happy New Year!)

Hello All! I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday season and a very, very Happy New Year. I’m back today with the first post of 2015! Woohoo! In true Blogger tradition, I’m sharing with you guys what I got for Christmas.  It was a good one and before I get into the haul, I want to thank my lovely family and friends for their spectacular generosity!

The beauty-related goodies I was lucky enough to be gifted with are:

What I got for Christmas

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation: So happy to have a back-up. One of my favorite formulas of all time!

Jo Malone Fragrance Nutmeg and Ginger: This smells like Lush. Like the Lush store, that is. Yummy!

Mac Cosmetics Heirloom Collection Keepsakes Smoky Eye Palette: A perfect little neutral quad with a good mix of mattes and shimmers. Not the most pigmented shadows I’ve ever tried but the presentation is excellent and the packaging is beautiful.

Viseart Sultry Muse Eyeshadow Palette: These shadows are to die for. The pigmentation, smoothness and blend-ability are amazing! I really, really want the matte palette but it is always out of stock (as are all of the palettes – so I’m super happy to have this one!).

*Shany Pro Signature Brush Set: Haven’t used any of these brushes yet but I am super excited to because I’ve heard the brushes are a good value. I’ve touched some of them, of course, and can say they are nice and soft!

*L’Occitane Immortelle Skincare Collection: While I have some experience with L’Occitane’s Bath and Body products, I’ve never tried any of their skincare. Definitely looking forward to it!

I also received a few other non-beauty related items which I’m also super grateful and excited for, including a lovely pearl set and an electronic wine opener (that’ll come in handy).

Whatever your celebrations this past year, I wish everyone the very best. And if you did happen to participate in any gift giving, please share in the comment section below!
