How we choose

Methodology

Our method separates the reader’s need, the available evidence, and the commercial route.

1. Define the decision

We start with a specific concern, routine, format, market, and budget context. The intended reader outcome is written before product selection.

2. Review the evidence

Sources, specifications, ingredient context, safety information, and prior editorial coverage are checked. Uncertainty and meaningful limitations stay visible.

3. Label testing status

Every product record distinguishes “not personally tested,” “evidence reviewed,” and “human tested.” A label never upgrades the strength of a claim by itself.

4. Check US and UK relevance

Regional retailer links, product names, availability, and disclosure requirements are checked separately. Both retailer routes remain available where verified.

5. Recheck and correct

Material updates, broken destinations, changing evidence, and availability are reviewed. Last-checked fields support this process without implying continuous monitoring.
