What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and identifiers that can recognise a browser, remember a choice or record an interaction.
First-party cookies are set for the Beautyisles domain. Third-party cookies are set by another service. A session cookie expires when the browser session ends; a persistent cookie remains until its expiry date or until you delete it.

Current site tools
Our site platform and security tools may use necessary storage to deliver pages, protect forms, deter abuse and keep the service reliable. A consent-management layer is available for optional categories when they are enabled.
Google Analytics support is installed for audience measurement, but an analytics property is not currently configured. If analytics is enabled, it will be treated as optional where consent is required and should not run before you make the relevant choice. Reports may then include pages viewed, approximate location, browser or device type, referral source and interaction timing.
Affiliate links and retailer cookies
An affiliate link includes a tag that identifies Beautyisles as the referring publication. Clicking it takes you to a separate retailer or network. That organisation may store or read cookies to attribute a purchase, remember a basket, prevent fraud, personalise its site or measure advertising under its own policies.
Rejecting optional cookies on Beautyisles does not control cookies on a retailer’s website. Review the retailer’s banner and cookie notice after you arrive. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how commission-earning links are labelled.
Your consent choices
Where consent is required, optional cookies are not selected by default. Accepting one category does not require you to accept another. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent you from reading Beautyisles, although some preference or embedded features may not work as intended.
When a Cookie settings control appears in the banner or site footer, use it to change or withdraw your choices. If no control is visible, use the browser controls in the next section to inspect or remove stored data. Changing a preference stops future optional storage through Beautyisles; it does not automatically delete cookies already stored by your browser or by another website.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block and delete cookies for one site or for all sites. Browser help pages explain the exact steps. Blocking every cookie can remove saved consent choices and may affect security, forms or other requested features.
Private-browsing modes and device-level privacy settings may reduce storage but work differently by browser. They do not replace a site-specific consent choice in every jurisdiction.
How long cookies last
Expiry depends on purpose. Session cookies end with the browser session. Persistent cookies remain for a stated period or until you delete them. Consent records are kept long enough to remember and demonstrate your choice; security records follow shorter operational cycles unless an incident requires preservation.
We review cookie categories when services change and remove storage that is no longer needed.
Updates and contact
We update this page when the site begins using a new category, purpose or provider. The review date at the top shows when the explanation was last checked.
