Terms of Use

These Terms apply when you visit or use the Beautyisles website, forms and newsletter pages. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are not old enough to do so where you live, use Beautyisles only with a parent or guardian.

Beautyisles publishes general beauty journalism, product research, buying guides and educational material. We work to keep it accurate and useful, but it is not a substitute for advice tailored to your health, skin, hair, circumstances or budget.

Product performance and suitability vary. A recommendation describes our assessment for the audience and use case stated in the article; it is not a promise that every reader will get the same result.

Beautyisles does not provide medical, dermatological, pharmaceutical or other clinical advice. Follow the product label, check the current ingredient list, patch test when appropriate and seek advice from a qualified professional for allergies, pregnancy-related questions, persistent symptoms, prescription interactions or a diagnosed condition.

Never use a Beautyisles article to delay professional care or to ignore a manufacturer’s warning.

Beautyisles does not sell the products featured in its editorial pages. A retailer controls its listing, seller information, product authenticity, price, stock, taxes, delivery, subscriptions, returns, warranties and customer service.

Some links can earn Beautyisles a commission. That relationship is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. A commission does not increase your price, create a contract between you and Beautyisles or make us responsible for the retailer’s actions.

You may use Beautyisles for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• break the law, infringe another person’s rights or encourage unsafe product use;
• probe, bypass or interfere with site security, access controls or normal operation;
• introduce malware, automate abusive requests, scrape at a rate that harms the service or use the site to send spam;
• copy substantial parts of the site into another publication, database, model, product feed or commercial service without permission; or
• misrepresent Beautyisles content, remove disclosures or imply that we endorse you, your service or your edited version of our work.

Search engines may crawl public pages in accordance with our technical instructions. Other automated use requires written permission where the law allows us to require it.

The site design, original writing, graphics, selection, arrangement and Beautyisles branding are owned by Beautyisles or used under licence and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may save a page for personal reference, print a reasonable number of copies for personal use and share a link with attribution. No other licence is granted. Brand names and product images belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

When you send a correction, question or other message, you confirm that you have the right to send it and that it is not unlawful, abusive or knowingly false. You keep ownership of your original material.

You give Beautyisles permission to use the submission as reasonably needed to respond, investigate, correct our work and protect the site. We will not publish your name or message as a testimonial without separate permission.

Links to retailers, studies, regulators and other websites are provided for context or convenience. We do not control those services and cannot guarantee that a page remains available, secure or unchanged after we link to it. Review the third party’s own terms and privacy information before using its service.

We may correct, update, move or remove content, and we may change or pause features for maintenance, security or editorial reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every historical statement will remain current.

To the extent the law permits, Beautyisles is provided “as available” without warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing here limits a warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Beautyisles is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the site, reliance on general editorial information, inability to access the site or a transaction with a third party.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

We may revise these Terms when the site, our business or applicable rules change. The date at the top shows the latest review. Material changes apply from the date stated and will be highlighted where a separate notice is appropriate.

We may limit or end access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk or legal obligations. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as intellectual-property protections and liability limits—survive the end of access.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. The laws and courts that apply depend on the circumstances and on rights that cannot be changed by contract where you live.
